I am Omare
I am an Android Developer from Manchester, England, Android development has been on my mind since the day I said to my friend “let’s build the next million-pound app idea”.
In this next chapter of my life, I decided to follow this dream and learn Android development. I love Android development and I feel like I have found something I am truly passionate about; I love creating applications that were once ideas in my head and making them into reality. The fact these applications are natively run on my phone to me feels extra special as they feel like apps that I would use in my day-to-day life.
I love the challenge and problem solving that goes with programming and I highly enjoy keeping up to date with the Android ecosystem and learning new concepts and ideas that help to create beautiful, modern, and scalable apps.

Professional Skills
I have a strong knowledge of Kotlin and utilise most of the modern tooling that it offers, from Coroutines and Flows to Jetpack Compose for UI development. Kotlin is my language of choice, and I am excited to implement both native and cross platform technologies with Kotlin & Compose Multiplatform technologies.
Furthermore, throughout my career I have implemented web technologies such as HTML, CSS & JavaScript, but also helped the design teams in a professional environment with use of Figma and Photoshop. I am highly adaptable and can learn any skill to help the team achieve its goals. I work great on my own, but also appreciate collaboration towards working to a greater goal.
